A Super Stylish Set

Hello lovely ladies! Can you believe it’s March already?! That means Spring is right around the corner! There’s not a lot going on for me this weekend, but I spent last weekend on an amazing mini-vacation in Dubai. It’s just a gorgeous country, and if you haven’t been there I highly recommend going if you get the chance. I spent most of my time on “the Palm”, which is filled with many incredible resorts.

The Palm is possibly most famous for actually being made up of tiny islands that form a “palm” shape. Speaking of vacation, do any of you have plans for a spring-break get-away?! Please, do share below (I love hearing, as I’m sure does everyone, about new and different destinations)!

On to today’s look, featuring an amazing 2-piece set by Luster Clothing. Who doesn’t love the 2-piece trend? Admittedly, it’s one of my  current obsessions. It takes some of the overthinking out of finding something stylish to wear. This slightly fitted, olive green two piece set is most definitely stylish too, and for only $59, this is a must for your closet.

The top is a relatively simple crop top, making it perfect to pair with a layered necklace, such as the Kelsey necklace worn here (Lucky Star). A helpful hint about the top’s fit: although the top is cropped, I am wearing a medium and it still gives some coverage in the front; in other words, it’s longer then many “crop tops” that simply won’t fit a larger bust (good to know for gals with long torsos and larger cup sizes, such as myself).

The top also has an open back design that closes at the neck, perfect for showing a little extra skin (and if you’re not wanting to show skin, throw a blazer over it for a quick, super polished look). The skirt is my favorite part of this set however!

The skirt has not two, but four alluring cut-outs at the bottom (the two larger cutouts have two mini cutouts below (it’s difficult to distinguish the smaller ones in the photos, but they show up nicely in person).  A little personal style advice: these simple cut out details, if placed properly, totally up the style factor on nearly any piece. The perfect finishing touch for me was a pair of strappy heels–nude or black looks best in my opinion!

    1. Thank you! As for places to wear them, If you put a blazer on with it, they can look professional (well, depending on how much they’re cropped), or if you dress it up with the right jewelry and heels you can even go out in them. If you’re aiming for a casual look, it’s more difficult I think. 🙂
