Happy Saturday my lovely friends! Well it is finally feeling like fall here in in Florida, which feels like a small miracle. I’m loving being able to bring my dogs on longer walks now, as well as taking comfortable jogs during the day.
I can finally bring you a look that’s a bit more in touch with the current season now that central Florida has cooled off a little. I’m always happy to bring you a look from one of my favorite fashion mecca’s of the world, and that’s Australia! I love the effortless style that comes out of Australia, so when I had an opportunity to collaborate with Meshki Boutique (based in Sydney), for this post, I was very excited.
For this look, I wanted to combine two of my favorite fall shades, khaki green and camel. Both tones are warm and earthy, and make a beautiful palette for any fall outfit.
As you can see, the khaki green top is an off-the-shoulder silhouette. You might have noticed that I am a major fan of off-the-shoulder pieces. This top is perfect for a subtle sexy look when it’s cool out, because it allows you to show a little skin, while still being warm with long sleeves. Further increasing the style factor is the choker neckline. What I actually love most about the top though, is that it’s a crop top that actually fits me properly—meaning it’s cropped, but not overly so! If you’re top heavier you know exactly what I’m talking about.
Today’s look also features a luxe pair of suede material pants. Elevating the look further is the high waisted fit, which happens to look pretty amazing with a crop top. If you’re not a fan of the crop top, a bodysuit would also look great with these pants. A note about the fit: while they are pretty true to size, they don’t have much stretch. Therefore, I would suggest to go with a larger size if you’re between sizes. For reference, I’m wearing a medium.
I love a leg lengthening effect, so I opted to pair this outfit with a cute pair of nude booties—complete with lace details that wrap around either the boot or calf (who doesn’t love little on-trend details like this?). The overall feel of this outfit is on the dressier side, so I went with a pointed toe vs. a round toe.
I typically accessorize using a minimalist approach, and considering this top has a choker neckline, there’s really no need for a necklace. So all I did to accessorize was throw on several silver and rose gold bangles; and a pair of mixed metal earrings. Finish the look off with a classic looking bag, one with a chain strap if possible. Chain shoulder straps give a nice, classy finish to any look.
I hope you enjoyed today’s post lovelies, I have many more fall looks coming your way soon—and a couple pretty cool holiday giveaways as well (can you say free jewelry ladies?) What are some of your favorite styles this fall? I’d love to hear what you all are really into this season! Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you stop by again soon. Have an amazing weekend!
